Since moving to Taos I have been enlightened and pleasantly surprised with the culture, atmosphere and beauty. I have lived in a busy suburb of Illinois all of my life so moving to Taos was very nice change of pace. I have learned to enjoy the outdoors and see beautiful scenery. I moved to Taos in January of 2006 with my fiancé who is the Superintendent at the country club.  At first it was a bit different than Illinois but I soon met people and began getting involved with what Taos has to offer. I joined a soccer league, began running and taking trail hikes. I am looking forward to learning how to ski this winter too. There is definitely more than meets the eye here. For a small town there is quite a lot to see and do. The diverse culture make Taos very welcoming and there is something here for everyone.

I graduated from Illinois State University in 2001 where I received a degree in Recreation Administration and Program Management. Instead of going into a hotel setting I chose the property management industry where I took a job as a Concierge. I was able to meet many different people and help in a variety of ways. I was a member of the National Concierge Association in Chicago and brought a bit of downtown Chicago to our residents in the suburbs. From there I became the Administrative Assistant in the corporate office where I was able to assist owners and corporate staff in daily relations with our tenants and our employees. In 2005 I decided to go back to school and get my Paralegal Certificate to increase my knowledge as well as assist on somewhat of a legal level.

I am now the Office Manager for Taos Properties and am thoroughly enjoying it. I learn from John and Lisa everyday and because we have a small office, my opinions and involvement is essential and appreciated. Taos Properties takes an educated and sincere approach to their business everyday. John and Lisa take their clients and turn them into friends. They spend time with them and go the extra mile to ensure satisfaction in the new home purchase or sale. I see the value and reward of being loyal to your clients and reaping the benefits down the road. Working at Taos Properties has been a wonderful experience and I look forward to the future.
